Competitive Exams are the exams in which the students participates around the country and according to their marks or grades they secure some rank. There are so many competitive exams that are being conducted in the nation. Let's have a look on some of them.


1. JEE Mains (Joint Entrance Examination Main):

JEE Mains is organised by NTA(National testing agency). This examination is taken by students to get admission in undergraduate engineering and architecture courses in various IIT's , NIT's , IIIT's ,GIT's and some of the private colleges.

Qualification: 12th class in science stream

Mode of exam: Online

Eligibility: Passed 12th class or appearing in 12th class 

Conducted: twice in a year



2. AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Science):

AIIMS Examination is conducted by All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi for students who are willing to take admission in AIIMS , New Delhi. It is recognized as the best medical college in the country.

Qualification: 12th class in Science Stream

Mode of Exam: Online

Eligibility: Passed 12th class or appearing in 12th class



3. NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test):

NEET is conducted by NTA(National Testing agency) for the students of science stream to take admission in medical colleges for courses like MBBS, BHMS, BDS , etc.

Qualification: 12th class in Science Stream

Mode of Exam: Offline

Eligibility: Passed 12th class or appearing in 12th class



4. BITSAT (Birla Institute of technology and science Admission Test) :

BITSAT is conducted by birla institute of technology and science for students to take admission in their undergraduate courses like bachelor of engineering , bachelor of pharma , etc.


Qualification: 12th class with maths , chemistry and physics subjects

Mode of exam: Online

Eligibility: Passed 12th class or appearing in 12th class 



5. GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering):

GATE score card is considered as one of the most valuable score card for an engineering student. GATE examination is conducted by IIT madras for the admission in the post graduation courses.

Qualification: 4 years bachelors's degree in any branch.
